HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Janet Serdar on the 
4occasion of her retirement from the City of Crest Hill after 35 
5and a half years of service; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Janet Serdar began her career in the Crest Hill 
7City Clerk's Office on October 20, 1986; she became the Deputy 
8City Clerk of Crest Hill in March of 1987; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Janet Serdar was an active and diligent member of 
10the governing body of the City of Crest Hill  and faithfully 
11served its residents; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Janet Serdar has served on various committees 
13within the City of Crest Hill and  is an active member of the 
14Crest Hill Women's Civic League; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Janet Serdar is the wife of Steven Serdar; they 
16have been married since October 10, 1987; together, they have 
17three children, Michael, Matthew, and Mark; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Janet Serdar's retirement plans with her husband 
19include traveling and spending more time with family and 
20friends; and

1    WHEREAS, Janet Serdar will retire from the City of Crest 
2Hill on January 7, 2022; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
4HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
5we congratulate Janet Serdar on her retirement from the City 
6of Crest Hill, thank her for her service,  and wish her the best 
7in her future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to Janet Serdar as an expression of our esteem and 
10respect.
