AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2777

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2777, AS AMENDED,
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
41, by replacing line 20 on page 14 through line 7 on page 15
5with the following:
6    "(d) A cemetery manager and customer service employee
7license may be in active status only during the period that
8such a licensee is employed by a cemetery authority that is
9licensed under this Act. In the event that a cemetery manager
10or customer service employee commences work for a cemetery
11granted an exemption under this Section, it shall be a duty of
12both the cemetery authority and the individual licensee to
13immediately notify the Department so that the license may be
14placed on inactive status. During the period that a license is
15in inactive status, the involved person may not hold himself
16or herself out as licensed. Upon returning to employment by a
17cemetery licensed under this Act, such a cemetery manager or
18customer service employee may reinstate the license to active
