1    AN ACT concerning gaming.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Illinois Gambling Act is amended by
5changing Section 20 as follows:
 
6    (230 ILCS 10/20)  (from Ch. 120, par. 2420)
7    Sec. 20. Prohibited activities - civil penalties. Any
8person who conducts a gambling operation without first
9obtaining a license to do so, or who continues to conduct such
10games after revocation of his license, or any licensee who
11conducts or allows to be conducted any unauthorized gambling
12games on a riverboat, in a casino, or at an organization gaming
13facility where it is authorized to conduct its gambling
14operation, in addition to other penalties provided, shall be
15subject to a civil penalty equal to the the amount of gross
16receipts derived from wagering on the gambling games, whether
17unauthorized or authorized, conducted on that day as well as
18confiscation and forfeiture of all gambling game equipment
19used in the conduct of unauthorized gambling games.
