SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $3,327,139.80 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Corrections to hire additional educators and vocational instructors. Effective July 1, 2021.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $3,327,139.80, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Corrections, to be used to hire 31 additional educators and 19 additional vocational instructors.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2021.
