SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $5,000,000 to the Department of Public Health to provide health care professionals in Cook County with COVID-19-related resources, including, but not limited to, vaccinations, at-home testing, contact tracing, and educational campaigns. Effective July 1, 2022.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The amount of $5,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Public Health to provide health care professionals, including, but not limited to, visiting home nurses, community health care workers, certified nursing assistants, and physician assistants, in Cook County with COVID-19-related resources, including, but not limited to, vaccinations, at-home testing, contact tracing, and educational campaigns.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2022.
