SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Charles "Sid" Bergh of Villa Park, who
4passed away on October 17, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Sid Bergh served in the U.S. Navy during World War
6II; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Sid Bergh was the beloved husband of the late Mary
8"Billie" and Anne; the loving father of Lynn (Bob) Borge, Karen
9(Michael) Marnell, Sue (Bob) Joorfetz, the late James, John,
10Clifford, Douglas, and Gregory; the cherished grandfather of
11Erika (Roman Cardoza) Lofgren, David (PimNara) Lofgren, Nathan
12(Carlyn Green) Bergh, Nicole (Tyler Gabel) Borge, Lisa
13(Michael) Schmid, Erica Borge, Michael (Liz) Marnell, and
14Matthew Marnell; the great-grandfather of Alex, Ayanna, Lukas,
15Isabella, Amanda, Sean, Mikey, and Gregory; the fond brother of
16the late John (Opal) Foster; and the uncle and great-uncle of
17many; therefore, be it
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
20Charles "Sid" Bergh and extend our sincere condolences to his
21family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
