SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Tyrone Dooley of Springfield, who passed
4away on April 4, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Tyrone Dooley was born to John and Ora Dooley on
6November 13, 1940; he was a native of Hot Springs, Arkansas; he
7graduated from Langston High School in Hot Springs; he served
8in the U.S. Navy; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Tyrone Dooley served in the Garland County
10Sheriff's Department in Hot Springs; he was a former employee
11of Union Carbide; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Tyrone Dooley was committed to his faith and was
13baptized at Roanoke Baptist Church; he was an active member of
14Calvary Baptist Church in Springfield; he was also a member of
15the Benevolent Order of the Elks; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Tyrone Dooley will be remembered as a devoted
17father and husband, as a talented musician, and as a big man
18with a larger than life personality; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Tyrone Dooley was preceded in death by his parents
20and six siblings; and

1    WHEREAS, Tyrone Dooley is survived by his wife, Barbara
2Dooley; his brother, Marvin Dooley; his children, Ty Price
3Dooley, Bridget Dooley, Tessica Dooley, Denise Neuman, and LC
4Clay; his niece, Eileen Calhoun; his nephew, Ricky Calhoun; and
5a host of nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Tyrone Dooley and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
9friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Tyrone Dooley as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
