SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Wayne D. Engesser Sr. of East Moline, who 
4passed away on April 8, 2020; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Wayne Engesser was born in Rock Island on July 8, 
61951; he served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam 
7Conflict; he married Jacklyn Dean in East Moline on December 5, 
81984; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Wayne Engesser worked for the City Of Rock Island 
10Water Department and later worked as a truck driver; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Wayne Engesser was a very caring man and a 
12wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather; 
13and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Wayne Engesser was preceded in death by his 
15parents; his son, Wayne Jr.; and his siblings, Delmar (Evelyn) 
16Engesser Jr., Marie (Jerry) McFall, Larry (Cheryl) Engesser, 
17Danny Engesser, and Greg Engesser; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Wayne Engesser is survived by his wife, Jacklyn; 
19his sons, Jeffery (Amber) Engesser and Benji Engesser; his 
20stepsons, Bruce and Richard Dean; his 16 grandchildren; his two

1great-grandchildren; his sister, Sharon (Dean) McFall; and his 
2sister-in-law, Margaret Engesser; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

5Wayne D. Engesser Sr. and extend our sincere
condolences to his 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved
him; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

9presented to the family of Wayne Engesser as an expression of

10our deepest sympathy.
