SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of April Danielle Brazier Green of Chicago,
4who passed away on September 19, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, April Brazier Green was born to Dr. Byron T.
6Brazier and Evangelist Mary Brazier on August 19, 1968; she
7attended World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio; and
 
8    WHEREAS, April Brazier Green became a home health care
9provider in Texas, caring for those that were physically and/or
10mentally challenged; she later became an entrepreneur and
11started her own business, K.I.C. (Keeping It Cute) with April
12B, as a hair technician; and
 
13    WHEREAS, April Brazier Green moved back to Chicago to be
14with her parents, her brother Byron T. Brazier Jr., and her
15church family; she wanted to enter the Systematic Ministry
16Process offered at Apostolic Church of God in order to answer
17her calling and go into ministry; and
 
18    WHEREAS, April Brazier Green was deeply committed to her
19faith; she was passionate about caring for others and cooking;
20she was known for being adventurous, charismatic, smart, and
21having a beautiful singing voice; and

1    WHEREAS, April Brazier Green is survived by her husband,
2Andre Green; her parents; her children, Dante James, Shante
3James, Breyana Patterson, Jemari Colyar, and Mariyah
4Patterson; her grandchildren, D'niyah, Paris, Nasir, Quran,
5London, A'brealle, Breion, and Londyn; her sister, Jacqueline
6Johnson; her brothers, Byron T. Brazier Jr. and Andre Wojtusik;
7and her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many
8friends; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11April Danielle Brazier Green and extend our sincere condolences
12to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be
13it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of April Brazier Green as an expression
16of our deepest sympathy.
