SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Rebecca Rae Mansholt of Maryville, who
4passed away on January 5, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Rebecca Mansholt was born in Litchfield to David
6Mansholt and Melissa Ray on December 27, 1977; she graduated
7from Bunker Hill High School in 1996; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Rebecca Mansholt was a project manager for Centene
9Corporation in Clayton, Missouri; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Rebecca Mansholt enjoyed shopping, being with her
11cat, Isabella, and spending time with her niece and nephew; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Rebecca Mansholt will always be fondly remembered
13by her classmates as a kind, caring, and compassionate friend
14to all; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Rebecca Mansholt was preceded in death by her
16grandfather, James Ray; her stepmother, Dianna Mansholt; and
17her uncles, Fred Schleyhahn and Jim Abernathy; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Rebecca Mansholt is survived by her father, David
19Mansholt; her mother, Melissa Ray; her stepfather, Russell

1Hughes; her sibling, Rachel (Brent) Bull; her stepbrother,
2Aaron Brayman; her stepsister, Allison Hanks; her
3half-brother, Allen Mansholt; her grandmother, Elizabeth Ray;
4her aunts, Helen Schleyhahn and Lisa Abernathy; her niece,
5Madelyn Bull; her nephew, Ethan Bull; and several other aunts,
6uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Rebecca Rae Mansholt and extend our sincere condolences to her
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Rebecca Mansholt as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
