SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Sevasti T. "Stella" Argoudelis of
4Plainfield; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Stella Argoudelis was born in Salamanca, New York
6to Emmanuel and Kalotina Tsongranis on November 10, 1934; she
7graduated from Tarpon Springs High School in Florida in 1954;
8she married John Zane Argoudelis, and they settled in
9Plainfield; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Stella Argoudelis was a long time employee with
11the Plainfield Molding Company; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Stella Argoudelis was a member of the All Saints
13Greek Orthodox Church in Joliet; she will forever be remembered
14as The Cake Lady; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Stella Argoudelis was preceded in death by her
16husband, John, and her parents; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Stella Argoudelis was the beloved mother of
18Alexandra Argoudelis, Kathryn (Paul) Gassensmith, Maria
19(Robert) Laws, JoAnn (the late Steven) Edenburn, and the late
20Demetrius "Jim" Argoudelis; the adored grandmother of Kristen

1(Nicholas) Yangas, Alison Gassensmith, Steven Edenburn, Samuel
2Edenburn, Gabriella Laws, and the late James Argoudelis; the
3loving great-grandmother of three; the dearest sister of Nick
4(Dora) Tsongranis; the sister-in-law of Sylvia Tsongranis and
5Steve Panagiotis, the late Rev. George E. Tsongranis, Mike
6Tsongranis, Mary (Andrew) Rousonelos, Kally Panagiotis, and
7Nickey Tsongranis; and the dear aunt of numerous nieces and
8nephews; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11Sevasti T. "Stella" Argoudelis and extend our sincere
12condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
13her; and be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Stella Argoudelis as an expression
16of our deepest sympathy.
