SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Wayne E. Crider of East Moline, who
4passed away on December 20, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Wayne Crider was born in Carrier Mills to Ausceon
6"Jack" and Lois Crider on May 27, 1922; he married Alma Ellis
7in Morehead City, North Carolina in 1944; he served as a
8sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the
9Korean War; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Wayne Crider worked as a parts supervisor at John
11Deere for 37 years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Wayne Crider was an active bowler and served as
13president of the John Deere bowling league for many years; he
14enjoyed scenic road trips across the country, history,
15wrestling, old westerns, and game shows; he was an advocate for
16nature, and it showed through his landscaped backyard and his
17welcoming manner toward wildlife; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Wayne Crider was preceded in death by his wife,
19Alma; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Wayne Crider is survived by his son, Gary (Zoila)

1Crider; his grandchildren, Wayne, Andrea, and Ylva; and his
2sister, Lorene Rhodes; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Wayne E. Crider and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Wayne Crider as an expression of our
10deepest sympathy.
