SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lillian C. Ross of Waukegan, who passed
4away on December 5, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lillian Ross was born to John and Caroline
6(Niemiec) Rozputynski on July 31, 1927; she graduated from
7Waukegan Township High School and attended the University of
8Illinois; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Lillian Ross dedicated 30 years of service to the
10United States Postal Service; she was a superintendent at the
11North Chicago Post Office and was postmaster at the Highwood
12Post Office; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Lillian Ross was an avid golfer and world
14traveler; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Lillian Ross was preceded in death by her parents;
16her brother, Edward; and her sisters, Anna and Sophie; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Lillian Ross is survived by her nieces and
18nephews, Carol (Lloyd) Waterloo, John Kowalski, Kathleen
19(John) Hansen, James (Tina) Kowalski, Virginia (James)
20Renwick, and John Ross, and her many loving grandnieces and

1grandnephews; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Lillian C. Ross and extend our sincere condolences to her
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Lillian Ross as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
