SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of James Esp of DeWitt, Michigan, who passed
4away on November 20, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, James Esp was born in Waukegan; he graduated from
6St. Anastasia Elementary School, Carmel Catholic High School,
7and the University of Illinois at Chicago; and
 
8    WHEREAS, James Esp worked for Osco Drug Stores,
9Genovese/Eckerd Drug Stores, and the Photo Marketing
10Association, for which he traveled internationally; and
 
11    WHEREAS, James Esp loved nature and sports, especially
12golf; he had a kind heart and a love of people and truly
13enjoyed getting to know all who crossed his path; he lived his
14life with purpose and understood the importance of family and
15friends; and
 
16    WHEREAS, James Esp was preceded in death by his parents and
17his brother, Ronald; and
 
18    WHEREAS, James Esp Jim is survived by his wife, Diane; his
19sons, Matthew (Julie) and Todd (Susana); his granddaughter,
20Alexis; his brothers, Robert (Bobbi), Richard (Wendy), David,

1Charles (Sally), and John (Nancy); numerous nephews and nieces;
2and many cousins; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5James Esp and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
6friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of James Esp as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
