SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Dennis R. Bush of Rock Island, who passed
4away on December 1, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Dennis Bush was born in Rock Island to Walter R.
6and Shirley C. (Tacey) Bush on April 28, 1943; he graduated
7from Alleman High School in 1961 and served his country in the
8U.S. Army; he married Diana Burns in Milan on October 2, 1981;
9and
 
10    WHEREAS, Dennis Bush worked as a farmer and owned Bush
11Electric; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Dennis Bush was an avid sportsman and enjoyed
13snowmobiling, riding ATVs, and watching sports; he also enjoyed
14NASCAR, traveling, and mowing his lawn; he was a fan of the
15Chicago Cubs and Bears and a member of the Namakagon Trail
16Groomers Club; he looked forward to the Wednesday morning
17breakfast club at Two Sisters Restaurant in Milan (The Scamper
18Inn in earlier years); he was very proud of his family and
19spent two years caring for his special-needs granddaughter,
20Alayna; and
 
21    WHEREAS, Dennis Bush was preceded in death by his parents;

1his sister, Mary Beth; and his grandson, Drake DeKeyrel; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Dennis Bush is survived by his wife, Diana; his
3daughters, Angela (Dana) DeKeyrel and Annette (Mike) Epperly;
4his grandchildren, Lexi, Doug, and Alayna DeKeyrel and Audrey
5and Will Epperly; and his siblings, Darrel (Teresa) and Bruce
6(Mary) Bush; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Dennis R. Bush and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Dennis Bush as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
