SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Dorothy M. Pullman of Crest Hill, who
4passed away on October 5, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Dorothy Pullman was born to Peter and Anna Bolatto
6in a farmhouse near Essex; she graduated from the St. Joseph
7School of Nursing in Joliet in 1949 and married Frank Pullman
8at St. John's Catholic Church in Joliet in 1951; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Dorothy Pullman served as a private duty nurse for
10many years; she then worked as a manager at the Imperial
11Nursing Home so she could care for her mother who resided there
12in her final years, retiring in 1989; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Dorothy Pullman was preceded in death by her
14parents and her husband of 60 years, Frank Pullman; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Dorothy Pullman is survived by her children, Jean
16(Robert) Geddis, William (Donna) Pullman, Robert (Jan)
17Pullman, and James Pullman; her grandchildren, Jordan Geddis
18and Allison (Terry Companik), Ashley (Joseph Mammosser), and
19Charles (Lisa) Pullman; her great-grandsons, Bennett Pullman,
20Lincoln Companik, and Maddox Mammosser; her sister, Anna Mae
21(Duane) Boyd; her brother, Robert (Vickie) Bolatto; and

1numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Dorothy M. Pullman and extend our sincere condolences to her
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Dorothy Pullman as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
