SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John A. "Jack" Waxweiler Sr. of Crest
4Hill, who passed away on November 13, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jack Waxweiler was born to Henry and Mary (Smith)
6Waxweiler on November 2, 1940; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Jack Waxweiler was the owner of Waxweiler Trucking
8and was a heavy equipment operator for the Argonne National
9Laboratory; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Jack Waxweiler was the retired Lockport Township
11Highway Commissioner, a past Lockport Township Collector, and a
12Lockport Township volunteer firefighter and Lockport Police
13Department auxiliary officer; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Jack Waxweiler was a member of St. John Vianney
15Catholic Church in Lockport; he had a heart of gold and loved
16spending time with his family; he will be deeply missed by all
17who knew and loved him; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Jack Waxweiler was preceded in death by his
19parents; his twin brother, James Waxweiler; his sister-in-law,
20Sharon Cox Waxweiler; his sister, Marold (Jo Anne) Leslie; and

1his daughter-in-law, Susan Waxweiler; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Jack Waxweiler is survived by his wife of 58
3years, Paula (Emery); his friend and companion, Joe-the-dog;
4his children, James (Sharon), John Jr. (MaryAnn), Adam (Rachel)
5Waxweiler, and Suzanne (David) Haberkorn; his grandchildren,
6Tori (Scott) Alexander, Jaclyn (Kurt) Hanaway, Ashley (Tim)
7Feehan, Tiler (Zach) Bradshaw, and Jack, Wade, and Jorja
8Waxweiler; his step-grandchildren, Lexie Mann and Emily
9Pickrum; his great-grandchildren, Broden and Adalyn Alexander,
10Timothy and Carson Feehan, and Declan Bradshaw; his nieces,
11Beth Gromos and Karen Castleman; his nephews, Michael, Scott,
12Eric, and Craig Waxweiler; and many friends; therefore, be it
 
13    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
14ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
15John A. "Jack" Waxweiler Sr. and extend our sincere condolences
16to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
17it further
 
18    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19presented to the family of Jack Waxweiler as an expression of
20our deepest sympathy.
