SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Bridgett Ladonna Ersery; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Bridgett Ersery was born in Chicago to Bonita and
5Anthony Ersery on January 9, 1974; she attended Beethoven and
6Fort Dearborn Elementary Schools; she graduated from Chicago
7Vocational High School (CVS), where she was part of the "Outlaw
8Posse", and the Cannella School of Hair Design; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Bridgett Ersery briefly worked for South Central
10Community Service as a daycare provider; she also worked for
11the Department of Children and Family Services as an
12administrative assistant in the Services Quality Assistance
13Division; she had a passion for children and took great joy in
14nurturing the next generation and caring for children as if
15they were her own; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Bridgett Ersery was very sociable and was part of
17several organizations; she was president of the alumni
18committee for her 1992 high school reunion class; she was
19outgoing and supportive of others; she tried to never miss a
20CVS gathering and would always show up with a smile; and
 
21    WHEREAS, Bridgett Ersery was the oldest of three children

1and often the loudest, making sure her presence was known; she
2was known to be the first one at the table when bid whist was
3announced; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Bridgett Ersery's mom, Bonita, took great care of
5her while working a fulltime job for over 25 years for the
6Human Resources Development Institute; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Bridgett Ersery is survived by her parents; her
8sister, Tawana Ersery; her brother, John Jones Ersery; and
9numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and
10friends; therefore, be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
13Bridgett Ladonna Ersery and extend our sincere condolences to
14her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
15further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Bridgett Ersery as an expression of
18our deepest sympathy.
