SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Raymond F. Rogina, who passed away on
4July 13, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Raymond Rogina served in the United States Army
6during World War II; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Raymond Rogina retired from the City of Joliet
8after 36 years of service as a police officer and a civilian
9dispatcher; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Raymond Rogina was a proud father, grandfather,
11and great-grandfather; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Raymond Rogina was preceded in death by his wife,
13Mary (Del Bianco) Rogina; his parents, Matthew and Emma
14(Pavilin) Rogina; his siblings, Matthew, John, Mary, Joseph,
15Fred, and Christine; and his special friend, Martin Uremovic;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, Raymond Rogina is survived by his children,
18Raymond P. (Diane), Michael A. (Sally), and Mark M. (Sandi)
19Rogina; his grandchildren, Matthew C. (Anna), Mark R., and
20Anthony L. (Natasha) Rogina; his great-grandson, Henry Rogina;

1his sister-in-law, Perina Matkovic; and numerous nieces and
2nephews; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Raymond F. Rogina and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Raymond Rogina as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
