SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Scott A. Heydt of Colona, who passed away
4on June 15, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Scott Heydt was born in Niceville, Florida to
6Harold Paul and Margie Louise (Mozingo) Heydt on October 3,
71959; he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps; he
8married Deanna Harrison in East Moline on August 25, 2007; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Scott Heydt enjoyed his time as a carpenter; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Scott Heydt had a love of Harley-Davidson
11motorcycles and NASCAR; he was a collector of a variety of
12things; he never hesitated to help someone in need, and family
13was the most important to him; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Scott Heydt was preceded in death by his parents
15and his brother, Mark; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Scott Heydt is survived by his wife, Deanna; his
17son, Austin Heydt; his stepchildren, Patrick (Chase) Harrison,
18Cassie (Drew) Wise, and Stephan (Amanda) Abbott; his grandsons,
19Konnor and Lucas; his siblings, Mike Heydt, Eric Heydt, and
20Chris McCulley; his sister-in-law, Karen Heydt; and his several

1nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Scott A. Heydt and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Scott Heydt as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
