SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Kenneth Barham of Moline, who passed away
4on June 4, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Kenneth Barham was born in Metropolis to James and
6Janie (Sullivan) Barham on December 22, 1925; he served in the
7U.S. Army during the Korean War and married Jacqueline Marie
8Rice on November 16, 1947; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Kenneth Barham was co-owner of the LeClaire
10Friendly Service station in Moline; he was also a financial
11planner with Prime America and authored two books; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Kenneth Barham was a member of the Elks Club and
13the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Moline; he was a fan of
14the Chicago Cubs; he owned stock cars and enjoyed camping,
15fishing, boating, working in his yard, traveling to Arizona,
16and time with his family; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Kenneth Barham was preceded in death by his wife,
18Jacqueline; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Kenneth Barham is survived by his children, Dan
20Barham, Chuck (Jackie) Barham, and Sandy (Robert Steven) Rumph;

1his grandchildren, Ann (Chris) Peterson, Tim (Nicole) Barham,
2Katie Barham, Shelley Rumph, and Kevin Rumph; his
3great-grandchildren, Coral, Camry, Zach, and Elizabeth; and
4his sister, Betty June Barham; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Kenneth Barham and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Kenneth Barham as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
