SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Donald Charles "Don" Cram of Moline, who
4passed away on May 29, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Don Cram was born in Iowa City, Iowa to Donald and
6Martha Weber Cram on September 16, 1933; he served in the
7United States Air Force; he married Joyce Menning in Davenport
8on October 13, 1954; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Don Cram was a supervisor at the Rock Island
10Arsenal; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Don Cram was a member of Christ the King Catholic
12Church in Moline; he enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending
13time with his grandchildren; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Don Cram was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce;
15his daughter-in-law, Patty Cram; his granddaughter-in-law,
16April Cram; and his brother-in-law, David Dwight; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Don Cram is survived by his sons, Michael Cram and
18Patrick (Deborah) Cram; his grandchildren, Chad Donald (Jodi),
19Sean (Rhonda), Justin (Jennifer), Danielle Joyce, and Samantha
20Nani Cram; his stepgrandchildren, William (Barbara) Close,

1Malisa (Bryan) Adams, and Traci Hendershot; his
2great-grandchildren, Emma, Dillon, Madison, Logan, Sarah,
3Havanna, Phoenix, and Nami and Timothy Cram; his
4stepgreat-grandchildren, Kylee and Branden Close, Hope and
5Brooke Adams, and Tyler Menezes; and his sister, Margie Dwight;
6therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Donald Charles "Don" Cram and extend our sincere condolences to
10his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Don Cram as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
