SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Stanley Raymond "Stan" Heed of Colona,
4who passed away on April 5, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Stan Heed was born in Benson County, North Dakota
6to John A. and Anna Tysk Heed on June 1, 1924; he served as an
7Aircraft Dispatcher in the United States Army from 1943 until
81946; he married Minita Marie Pfeiffer in Lawton, Oklahoma on
9December 31, 1946; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Stan Heed worked as a Purchasing Agent for Mutual
11Trust Life Insurance Company in Oakbrook for 38 years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Stan Heed was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church,
13where he was active in many church activities; he enjoyed
14bowling; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Stan Heed was preceded in death by his parents;
16his wife, Minita; his sisters, Helen, Marie, Lillian, Alma, and
17Esther; and his brother, Arthur; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Stan Heed is survived by his daughter, Carol
19(Mike) Keller; his son, Paul (Lynn) Heed; his grandson, Ian;
20AFS Exchange student, Claudia Dalla-Verde; and his sister,

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Stanley Raymond "Stan" Heed and extend our sincere condolences
5to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
6it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Stan Heed as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
