SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ignatius S. "Iggy" Hodnik of Waukegan,
4who passed away on February 14, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Iggy Hodnik was born to Ignatius and Frances
6Hodnik on February 1, 1927; he served in the U.S. Army during
7World War II; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Iggy Hodnik held many factory jobs and retired in
9the mid-90s from the City of Waukegan Public Works Department;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Iggy Hodnik attended mass faithfully at Mother of
12God Parish, later joining St. Anastasia; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Iggy Hodnik is survived by his wife, Judith; his
14children, Fred (Deb) Hodnik, Sue Hodnik, and Nancy (Gary)
15Orvis; his stepdaughter, Kristen (Ricky) Galla; his
16grandchildren, Marco, Keri, Alicia, John, and Henry; his
17sisters, Victoria Zelenik and Marge Berzin; and many nieces and
18nephews; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

2his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
