SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Cynthia M. "Cindi" (Sundberg) Haley, who
4passed away on February 15, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Cindi Haley was born in Burlington, Wisconsin to
6David and Ruth (Reger) Sundberg on April 24, 1945; she
7graduated from Burlington High School; and
 
8    WHEREAS, After graduation, Cindi Haley moved to North
9Chicago and began her career as a secretary at Abbott
10Laboratories; during this time, she met and married Dennis M.
11Haley; and
 
12    WHEREAS, During retirement, Cindi Haley enjoyed watching
13Hallmark movies and making potato salad and ham salad with her
14close friends; she and Dennis enjoyed cruising around in their
152002 Thunderbird and dining in most Lake County restaurants,
16especially having breakfast at Bob & Ann's; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Cindi Haley was preceded in death by her husband
18of 50 years, Dennis; her sister, Anna Marie Wegrzyn; and her
19parents; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Cindi Haley is survived by nieces and nephews; her

1great-nephew; her two great-nieces; her great-great-nephew;
2her brother-in-law, Patrick (Teena); her cousins; and several
3close friends; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Cynthia M. "Cindi" (Sundberg) Haley and extend our sincere
7condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
8her; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Cindi Haley as an expression of our
11deepest sympathy.
