| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. "AN ACT concerning civil law", approved August |
| 5 | | 22, 2005, Public Act 94-653, is amended by changing Section 5 |
| 6 | | as follows:
|

| 8 | | Sec. 5. The Illinois Department of Human Services is hereby |
| 9 | | authorized to grant and convey a permanent conservation |
| 10 | | easement to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources or any |
| 11 | | entity the Department of Human Services deems appropriate on a |
| 12 | | parcel containing 30 acres, more
or less, that is located in |
| 13 | | Section 18, Township 40 North, Range 13 East of the third |
| 14 | | principal meridian, Cook County, Illinois, situated to the West |
| 15 | | and South of the Chicago Read Mental Health Center, for the |
| 16 | | purpose of preserving and protecting the wetlands and forested |
| 17 | | area for the benefit of the patients of the
facility, the |
| 18 | | community, and the general public, this 30-acre parcel being |
| 19 | | more
particularly described under Section 10 of this Act.

| 21 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 22 | | becoming law.
