SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates various amounts to the Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability, the Legislative Audit Commission, the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules, the Legislative Information System, the Legislative Printing Unit, the Legislative Reference Bureau, and the Architect of the Capitol for operations expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.  Appropriates $312,500 from the General Revenue Fund to the Legislative Ethics Commission to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Commission and the Office of Legislative Inspector General. Effective July 1, 2019.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

ARTICLE 1

 

    Section 5. The sum of $4,152,100, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.

 

    Section 10. The sum of $1,500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability for the purpose of making pension pick up contributions to the State Employees’ Retirement System of Illinois for affected legislative staff employees.

 

    Section 15. The sum of $273,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Legislative Audit Commission to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020, including prior year costs.

 

    Section 25. The sum of $1,140,700, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.

 

    Section 30. The sum of $5,166,700, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Legislative Information System to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.

 

    Section 35. The following sum, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Assembly Computer Equipment Revolving Fund to the Legislative Information System:

 

    For Purchase, Maintenance, and Rental of General Assembly Electronic Data Processing Equipment and for other operational purposes of the General Assembly......................... 1,600,000

 

    Section 40. The sum of $2,160,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Legislative Printing Unit to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.

 

    Section 45. The sum of $2,581,400, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Legislative Reference Bureau to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.

 

    Section 50. The sum of $1,669,500, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Architect of the Capitol to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.

 

ARTICLE 2

 

    Section 5. The sum of $312,500, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Legislative Ethics Commission to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Commission and the Office of Legislative Inspector General.

 

ARTICLE 99

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2019.
