SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert E. "Bob" Whitlock Jr. of Adel,
4Georgia, who passed away on November 2, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Whitlock was born to Robert E. Sr. and Therese
6(Marfia) Whitlock on February 25, 1944; he attended Immaculate
7Conception School and graduated from Waukegan Township High
8School; he attended college at Bradley University in Peoria and
9the University of Maryland in College Park; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Bob Whitlock worked in the field of accounting and
11used his skills effectively in a career in sales; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Bob Whitlock enjoyed boating and golfing; he was a
13fan of the Chicago Bears and White Sox and enjoyed sharing time
14and laughter with family and friends; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Bob Whitlock was preceded in death by his father,
16Robert E. Whitlock Sr., and his brother-in-law, Roger Woodard;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Bob Whitlock is survived by his mother, Therese
19Whitlock; his wife, Pamela (Storey) Whitlock; his son, Robert
20E. (Anne) Whitlock III; his daughters, Brandy Whitlock and

1Teresa (Steve) Ottersen; his grandchildren, Brittni (Donny),
2Brandon, Ashley, Nicholas, Matthew, and Caleb; his
3great-grandchildren, Brice and Anna; his siblings, Jeanette
4Woodard, William Whitlock, and Mary (Steve) Navulis; numerous
5aunts, an uncle, a niece, a nephew, many cousins, and a
6lifelong friend, Bill Allie; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Robert E. "Bob" Whitlock Jr. and extend our sincere condolences
10to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
11it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Bob Whitlock as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
