SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joseph R. "Rick" Culat of Park City, who
4passed away on May 28, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Rick Culat was born in Waukegan on March 27, 1950;
6he attended North Chicago schools and graduated in 1969; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Rick Culat held many jobs during his life and
8always gave 110 percent to his employers; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Rick Culat enjoyed many friendships over the years
10and was well liked by everyone he met; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Rick Culat was preceded in death by his
12stepfather, Don Barrows; his paternal grandparents, Joe and
13Anna Culat; and his maternal grandparents, Floyd and Irene
14Duncan; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Rick Culat is survived by his mother, Nancy
16Barrows; his brother, Mike (Jan) Culat; his nephew, Mike Culat
17Jr.; his niece, Kathy Grasty; and his cat, Chloe; therefore, be
18it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2Joseph R. "Rick" Culat and extend our sincere condolences to
3his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

6presented to the family of Rick Culat as an expression of our
7deepest sympathy.
