SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Michael John Diamond, who passed away on
4April 30, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Michael Diamond was born to Paul and Marla Diamond
6on March 22, 1993; he graduated from Immanuel Lutheran Grade
7School, Shoreland Lutheran High School, and earned a bachelor's
8degree from Valparaiso University, where he graduated with high
9honors; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Michael Diamond worked as a Licensed Mortgage Loan
11Officer for Diamond Residential Mortgage Corporation; he was
12licensed in the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and
13Ohio; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Michael Diamond was a lifelong member of Immanuel
15Lutheran Church; he loved life, history, and spending a day on
16the ski slopes in Utah or Colorado; he enjoyed watching a great
17movie or attending a fun concert with his brothers and friends;
18he was always smiling, laughing, and bringing smiles and
19laughter to others; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Michael Diamond was preceded in death by his
21grandmothers, Esterle Cobourn and Edna Maxwell; and

1    WHEREAS, Michael Diamond is survived by his parents; his
2brothers, Christopher (Julie) Diamond and Zachary Diamond;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Michael John Diamond and extend our sincere condolences to his
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Michael Diamond as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
