SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Henry Penning Beiser of Alton, who passed
4away on April 8, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Henry Beiser was born in Alton to David and
6Margaret (Penning) Beiser on August 20, 1931; he graduated from
7St. Ambrose College in Davenport, Iowa in 1953; he then served
8in the United States Army; he married Suzanne Chappel in Alton
9on May 18, 1957; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Henry Beiser retired from the Granite School
11District as a counselor and teacher after 32 years of service;
12and
 
13    WHEREAS, Henry Beiser was a member of St. Mary's Catholic
14Church in Alton and the Alton Knights of Columbus; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Henry Beiser was preceded in death by his parents
16and his brothers, David and Joseph Beiser; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Henry Beiser is survived by his wife, Suzanne; his
18sons, Mark Beiser, Christopher (Mary) Beiser, and Steven
19Beiser; his grandchildren, Benjamin Beiser, Nicholas Beiser,
20Andrew Beiser, Ashley (Zachary) Righter, Elizabeth Beiser,

1Megan Beiser, and Brian Beiser; and his great-grandchild,
2Willow Beiser; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Henry Penning Beiser and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Henry Beiser as an expression of our
10deepest sympathy.
