SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Richard William "Bill" Kinser Sr. of
4Carlinville, who passed away on February 23, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bill Kinser was born at the home of his
6grandparents in Greenfield to Guy and Helen (Rawe) Kinser on
7January 6, 1930; he graduated from Greenfield High School in
81948; he served in the United States Navy Reserve; he married
9Betty B. Thiele in St. Louis, Missouri on December 1, 1951;
10together, they raised four children; she passed away on October
116, 1987; he later married Helen Murdock at the Carlinville
12First Assembly of God Church on December 10, 1988; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Bill Kinser was a millwright for Continental Can
14Company in St. Louis, Missouri for 37 years; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Bill Kinser was a member of the Carlinville First
16Assembly of God Church, the Steel Workers Union, the Macoupin
17County Farm Bureau, the Macoupin County Historical Society,and
18the local ROMEOs; he was involved with Compassionate Friends
19and the Marriage Encounter Group; he enjoyed gardening,
20reading, traveling, and spending time with his family; he and
21Helen enjoyed attending southern gospel concerts; and

1    WHEREAS, Bill Kinser was preceded in death by his parents;
2his first wife, Betty; his sons, Gary Lynn and Gregory Curtis;
3and his brother, Russell Kinser; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Bill Kinser is survived by his wife, Helen; his
5son, Richard William (Denise) Kinser Jr.; his daughter, Debbie
6Sue (Brian) Bangert; his daughter-in-law, Carol Ann Kinser; his
7nine grandchildren; his 13 great-grandchildren; his two
8step-great-grandchildren; his four great-great-grandchildren;
9his step-great-great-granddaughter; his brother, Buy Kinser
10Jr.; his sister, Jane (Bud) Dorethy; his sisters-in-law, Donna
11Kinser and Rose Crites; and his many nieces and nephews;
12therefore, be it
 
13    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
14ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
15Richard William "Bill" Kinser and extend our sincere
16condolences to his family, friends and all who knew and loved
17him; and be it further
 
18    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19presented to the family of Bill Kinser as an expression of our
20deepest sympathy.
