SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Richard F. Budzynski Sr. of Johnsburg,
4who passed away on April 13, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Budzynski Sr. was born in Chicago to John
6and Emily (Zyskowski) Budzynski on February 12, 1939; he
7proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and married
8the love of his life, Muriel Paszkiet, in Chicago at St. Robert
9Bellarmine Church on September 29, 1962; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Richard Budzynski Sr. was the proprietor of RFB
11Litho Service Inc. of Chicago for over 39 years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Richard Budzynski Sr. had a summer home since 1989
13in Johnsburg and became a permanent resident in 1999; he was a
14member of the Knights of Columbus Council 9167 with St. John
15the Baptist Catholic Church; he loved to read and enjoyed
16woodworking; he had a great love for nature and the outdoors;
17especially his riverfront property in Johnsburg, and the beauty
18of the outdoors in Wisconsin; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Richard Budzynski Sr. was preceded in death by his
20parents; his brother, John Budzynski; his sister-in-law, Del
21Budzynski; and his brother-in-law, George Blickhahn; and

1    WHEREAS, Richard Budzynski Sr. is survived by his loving
2wife of 54 years, Muriel; his children, Adrienne (Christopher)
3Hentz, Richard F. Jr. (Karina) Budzynski; his grandchildren,
4Alexander, Shawn, Elise, Jake, Mila; and his sister, Dorothy
5Blickhahn; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Richard F. Budzynski Sr., and extend our sincere condolences to
9his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Richard Budzynski Sr. as an
13expression of our deepest sympathy.
