SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Sylvia R. (Zorc) Trygar of Winthrop
4Harbor, who passed away on January 30, 2017 at the age of 83;
5and
 
6    WHEREAS, Sylvia Trygar was born in Waukegan to Anton and
7Pauline Zorc on December 13, 1933; she graduated from Waukegan
8Township High School in 1952 and married Chester Trygar at
9Mother of God Catholic Church in Waukegan in 1954; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Sylvia Trygar was a bookkeeper at North Shore Gas
11Company and later at Our Lady of Humility Church for 25 years
12until she retired in 1991 to take care of her precious new
13granddaughter; she was an active member in the church and
14supported bingo and other fundraising activities for over 20
15years, and was a member of KSKJ for 75 years; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Sylvia Trygar loved to paint with all art mediums;
17she enjoyed spending time with her husband gardening, tending
18to her flowers, and yard work; she will always be remembered
19for her great cooking and baking skills; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Sylvia Trygar was preceded in death by her
21parents, and her brother, Ottavio Zorc; and

1    WHEREAS, Sylvia Trygar is survived by her husband of 62
2years, Chester; her children, Debra (Steven) Angrist and Joseph
3(Kimberly) Trygar; her granddaughter, Paloma "Peaches"
4(Raymond) Kennedy; her brother, Michael Zorc; and many nieces,
5nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended
6family members; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Sylvia R. Trygar, and extend our sincere condolences to her
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Sylvia Trygar as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
