SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Richard A. Itter Sr. of Lakemoor, who
4passed away on December 10, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Itter Sr. was born in Chicago to Harry and
6Renee (Simon) Itter on September 16, 1953; he married Catherine
7Biancalana at St. Edna Catholic Church in Arlington Heights on
8October 12, 1996; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Richard Itter Sr. served in the United States Army
10as a military police officer for over 13 years, and was
11stationed in Berlin, Germany when the Berlin Wall came down; he
12then entered law enforcement in Littleville, Alabama; in the
13early 1990s, he became a dispatcher and truck driver for UPS in
14Palatine; he worked for McHenry Harley-Davidson, and later, the
15On Target Range & Tactical Training Center in Crystal Lake; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Richard Itter Sr. was preceded in death by his
17parents and his daughter, Jodie; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Richard Itter Sr. is survived by his wife of 20
19years, Cathy; his sons, Richard A. (Kelly) Itter Jr., and Mark
20(Kellye) Itter; his grandchildren, Jessica, Simon, Destiny,
21Luke, and Mason; his sister, Lisa (Steve) DeSmidt; and his

1brothers, Bill (Janet) Itter, Jeff (Debbie) Itter, and Ken
2(Kathy) DeSmidt; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Richard A. Itter Sr., and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Richard Itter Sr. as an expression
10of our deepest sympathy.
