    Amends the Conveyances Act. Provides that the Section concerning the interests of subsequent purchasers without notice is a pure-notice recording statute.

1    AN ACT concerning civil law.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Conveyances Act is amended by changing
5Section 30 as follows:
 
6    (765 ILCS 5/30)  (from Ch. 30, par. 29)
7    Sec. 30. All deeds, mortgages and other instruments of
8writing which are authorized to be recorded, shall take effect
9and be in force from and after the time of filing the same for
10record, and not before, as to all creditors and subsequent
11purchasers, without notice; and all such deeds and title papers
12shall be adjudged void as to all such creditors and subsequent
13purchasers, without notice, until the same shall be filed for
14record. This Section is a pure-notice recording statute.
