Biography: Small business owner Mike Coffey was sworn into office as State Representative of the 95th District in January 2023. He brings years of experience running successful businesses, promoting tourism and shepherding economic growth to the Sangamon County area. Rep. Coffey has served on the Springfield Metropolitan Exposition and Auditorium Authority (SMEAA) board, which governs the Bank of Springfield Center since 1997. He has chaired SMEAA Since 2005. Additionally, he managed his family's Springfield restaurant Saputo's before founding Papa Frank's. His legislative priorities include retaining and growing jobs in the 95th District, ensuring Springfield remains the seat of Illinois government, reducing the tax burden on hardworking residents, protecting those in care of the state and enhancing public safety. He has been married over 30 years. He has three children and one grandchild.
