<reference>820 ILCS 180/10</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>820 ILCS 180/20</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Victims' Economic Security and Safety Act. Provides that all employees, not only those working for an employer having more than 49 employees, covered by the Act are entitled to a total of 12 workweeks of leave during any 12-month period.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>Land Conveyance Appraisal Note (Dept. of Transportation)</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>No land conveyances are included in this legislation, therefore, there are no appraisals to be filed. </SynopsisText><synopsistitle>Judicial Note (Admin Office of the Illinois Courts)</synopsistitle>

<SynopsisText>HB 4036 would not change the amount of authorization for any type of State-issued or State-supported bond, and, therefore, would not affect the level of State indebtedness.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>Senate Floor Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Victims' Economic Security and Safety Act. Provides that the term "employer" includes any person who employs at least one employee. Provides that leave may be used by an employee who has a family or household member who is the victim of domestic or sexual violence. Provides that leave may be used for the time a victim is experiencing an incident of domestic or sexual violence. Provides that employees working for an employer that employed at least one but not more than 14 employees shall be entitled to 4 workweeks of leave during any 12-month period. Effective January 1, 2017.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
