<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>720 ILCS 5/24-11 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Criminal Code of 2012. Provides that if grants are available to the Department of State Police for this purpose, the Department shall develop and maintain a website and database containing certain information about firearm discharge incidents in public places derived from local incident reports submitted by the law enforcement agency to the Department of State Police on a secure website such as LEADS. Provides that the information in the database shall be available to public health researchers designated by the Director of State Police, in consultation with the Director of Public Health. Provides that the Department of State Police shall annually compile a report based on the information contained in the database reported by law enforcement agencies to the Department within the previous calendar year.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
