Provides that the Chicago Board of Education may approve a change to the name of a school building only if a petition is filed with the board in favor of changing the school building's name and the petition is signed by at least 2,000 members of the community in which the building is located. Provides that if the board has approved a change to the name of a school building after June 1, 2012 and before June 1, 2014, then the board shall rescind that approval and the original name of the school building must be restored.
