| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 806 on page 1, by |
| 3 | | replacing lines 10 through 17 with the following: |
| 4 | | "(1) no sooner than 90 days and no later than 7 days |
| 5 | | before the application of the sludge to the land in |
| 6 | | question, (i) provide written notice of the application to |
| 7 | | township and county officials whose districts encompass |
| 8 | | land upon which the sludge is to be applied and (ii) |
| 9 | | publish notice of the application in a newspaper of general |
| 10 | | circulation in any county whose boundaries encompass land |
| 11 | | upon which the sludge is to be applied;"; and

| 12 | | on page 2, immediately below line 12, by inserting the |
| 13 | | following: |
| 14 | | "(c) For a period of 2 years after the application of |
| 15 | | sludge to agricultural land, the person who applies the sludge |
| 16 | | must (i) maintain a copy of the letter sent to county and |
| 17 | | township officials and proof of newspaper publication and (ii) |
