<reference>510 ILCS 45/7</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 8, par. 907</aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Carrier, Racing, Hobby, and Show Pigeon Act of 1993. Provides that a county may prohibit or regulate the housing and keeping of any pigeons. Provides that a municipality may regulate, but not prohibit, the orderly keeping of carrier, racing, hobby, and show pigeons. Provides that a municipality may prohibit or regulate the housing and keeping of any pigeons other than carrier, racing, hobby, or show pigeons. (Now, the Act provides that neither a municipality located in a county with fewer than 3,000,000 inhabitants nor a county may enact an ordinance which prohibits the orderly keeping of carrier pigeons, hobby, or show pigeons, except that any municipality located within a county having 3,000,000 or more inhabitants may enact an ordinance to prohibit or regulate the orderly keeping of carrier, racing, hobby, or show pigeons.)
