<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>20 ILCS 2310/2310-640 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Public Health shall establish, promote, and maintain an information program concerning bladder cancer in firefighters in order to encourage firefighters to secure medical care for malignant conditions caused by occupational exposure to hazardous materials. Provides that the program shall be conducted in the City of Chicago, one suburban county selected by the Department, and one downstate county selected by the Department. Provides that the Department may designate and may enter into contracts with providers of health care and bladder cancer testing materials for the purpose of creating screening programs. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
