<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>625 ILCS 5/3-634</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>625 ILCS 5/3-684 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides for the issuance of Firefighters' license plates to a firefighter employed by a municipal fire department or fire protection district or a volunteer firefighter. Provides that in addition to the appropriate registration fees, an applicant for the special plate shall be charged a fee of $27 at original issuance and $17 at renewal. Provides that $12 of the additional original issuance fee and $15 the renewal fee shall be deposited into the Illinois Fire Fighters' Memorial Fund. Provides that $15 of the original issuance fee and $2 of the renewal fee shall be deposited into the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that, subject to appropriation by the General Assembly and approval by the Secretary of State, the moneys in the Illinois Fire Fighters' Memorial Fund will be used for the same purposes provided for by Illinois Fire Fighters' Memorial license plates, special license plates that do not require the applicant to be a firefighter.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
