<reference>305 ILCS 5/12-4.7b-1 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that the Department of Human Services shall enter into an agreement with the Illinois State Police (ISP) to allow the Department's database of public aid recipients to cross-reference with ISP's database of outstanding criminal warrants. Further provides that public aid recipients who are found to have an outstanding criminal warrant shall be subject to an immediate suspension of their public aid benefits, including the immediate deactivation of their electronic benefits card or LINK card provided under the food stamp program.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Committee Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that the Department of Human Services shall immediately suspend a public aid recipient's benefits and deactivate the recipient's electronic benefits card or LINK card provided under the food stamp program upon receipt of a notarized notice from the Illinois State Police (ISP) confirming the public aid recipient's listing in ISP's outstanding criminal warrants database. Further provides that the notarized notice shall be submitted upon request and that it must include at a minimum the public aid recipient's full name, date of birth, and social security number; the name of the county that issued the criminal warrant; and a copy of the criminal warrant.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Committee Amendment No. 2</synopsistitle>
