<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>30 ILCS 105/5.719 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>625 ILCS 5/3-684 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code and the State Finance Act. Provides for the issuance of U.S. Coast Guard license plates to Illinois residents who meet eligibility requirements to be prescribed by the Secretary of State. Provides that an applicant shall be charged an additional fee of $20 at original issuance and renewal. Provides that $15 of the original issuance fee and $2 of the renewal fee shall be deposited into the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that $5 of the original issuance fee and $18 of the renewal fee shall be deposited into the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance Fund. Creates the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance Fund as a special fund in the State treasury. Provides that all moneys in the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance Fund shall, subject to appropriation, be used for grants for charitable purposes and financial assistance programs sponsored by Coast Guard Mutual Assistance, Inc., a recognized charitable organization.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
