<reference>20 ILCS 2805/2.08 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Department of Veterans Affairs Act. Provides that the Department may make grants to employees of veterans medical facilities for the purpose of obtaining a professional degree or certification. Requires that an employee's application for a grant be approved by the facility at which he or she is employed. Provides that, as a condition of receiving a grant, an employee must agree to continue his or her employment at the facility for 4 years after successfully completing the degree or certification program. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
