PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENTS SponsorsGovernor 1/11/2011HouseSession Sine Die Provides that a State department, agency, authority, board, or instrumentality under the control of the Governor: shall include a project labor agreement on a public works project under specified circumstances; may include a project labor agreement on a public works project funded in whole or in part with Federal funds under specified circumstances; and shall in good faith negotiate a project labor agreement with labor organizations engaged in the construction industry. Provides for appointment of a designee to assist the parties in reaching an agreement under specified circumstances. Contains provisions regarding elements of agreements and other matters.
