    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1434 on page 1,

immediately below line 11, by inserting the following:

        "(1)  The public universities in this State have the 
5
    right of first refusal to offer the baccalaureate degree 
6
    programs on the community college campus in a manner that 
7
    is mutually agreeable between the district and the 
8
    university."; and

on page 1, line 12, by replacing "(1)" with "(2)"; and

on page 1, line 16, by replacing "(2)" with "(3)"; and

on page 1, line 18, by replacing "(3)" with "(4)"; and

on page 1, line 20, by replacing "(4)" with "(5)"; and
