| AN ACT concerning veterans.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Veterans Preference Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 3 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (330 ILCS 55/3) (from Ch. 126 1/2, par. 25)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 3. Any person who knowingly and wilfully violates |
| 8 |
| the provisions of this
Act, is guilty of a petty offense and |
| 9 |
| shall be fined not less than $75
$25, nor
more than $300
$100 |
| 10 |
| for each offense.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
